Salary: GBP28407 - GBP34581 per annum
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Edgbaston, Birmingham area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This hospital provides fast access to expert treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.
To be considered for this position you must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership and HCPC registration.
As an Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:
* Supporting patients to engage in self-care, productive and recreational groups.
* Planning and facilitating 1:1 and group interventions.
* Working alongside the Occupational Therapist and members of the multidisciplinary team to identify the patients' Occupational Needs.
* Observing, recording, and reporting Patients' involvement in 1:1s and groups.
* Monitoring the well-being of patients and ensuring that any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to more senior staff and documented as appropriate.
* Ensuring the effective, timely, and accurate updating of clinical records and computerized information systems.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
* Patient-centric approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
* Fine-tuned decision-making skills.
* Excellent organizational capability.
The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £28,407 - £34,581 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
