Job Description
We are currently seeking an exceptional Stock Supervisor to join our Old Bond Street team on a full-time permanent basis.
A solid proven track record within a similar role in luxury or premium retail is advantageous however not a must.
Scope
Responsible for:
· ensuring the stockroom organization to maximize the store productivity
· monitoring the stock levels and supporting the activities of the Sale Staff
· guaranteeing the stock and inventory control and managing
· Acts as the point person for maintaining and supervising all the inbound/outbound merchandise as well as the maintenance and organization of all back of house stock and supply areas
· Be a role model ensuring the highest level of client service
· Represent the brand as an ambassador by promoting its values and ambitions within the market place
· Key Holder (mandatory for Managers, optional for Supervisors)
Key Accountabilities
· Manage the stockroom organization in order to contribute to the store productivity, in accordance with the DG directives and procedures
· In collaboration with the store management, is responsible for:
· supporting the Sale Staff, ensuring efficient and fast replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor and shortening the waiting time of the clients
· training support on system and stockroom guideline to new stock keeper
· Guarantee an effective people management of the Stock Staff:
· arrange and conduct monthly coaching sessions with his/her Staff to review performance and provide constructive, timely feedback
· handle the Corporate review process for the Stock Staff
· Participate to daily store meetings to communicate current business trends, relevant updates and motivate the store employees to perform
· Identify store maintenance issues, lighting concerns and work closely with Corporate to report, catalogue, prioritize and resolve areas that impact store structural function and image
· Ensure receipt, quantities, tagging, deliveries of products, articles, and supplies in a timely manner
· Prepare new items to be displayed in collaboration with the Sale Staff
· Ensure replenishment is done systematically and accurately
· Participate in store maintenance
· Control and supervise transfers and all other operations in a timely manner
· Supervise the flow of goods between storage and shop floor, prepare and control arrangement of articles
· Follow daily placement of items for sale, in line with articles available in stock
· Plan and undertake inventory operations, and be a stakeholder in monitoring loss-prevention and unknown mark-downs
· Communicate on a daily basis with article rotation and propose remedial measures where necessary
· Oversee and confirm all receipts, deliveries, outgoing packages, both retail and non-retail
· Maintain loss prevention standards through awareness and adherence to store policies
· Respond to Corporate regarding discrepancies, missing documentation, etc.
· Guarantee the bi annual store inventory accuracy and set up quantitative targets related to inventory control
· Be competent in cash procedures and operations and, if needed, provides support to the cashiers team
Guarantee:
· full knowledge of all shipping and receiving procedures and paperwork distribution
· inter-store transfers, RTVs and damages
· client purchases, consignments and transfers or deliveries to other locations
· PR/Visual deliveries
· Store materials, supplies and packaging supplies
· furniture moves, special event setup, etc.
· Manage Staff uniforms (fitting, order, remittance, alterations, dry cleaning and spare uniforms)
· Order office stationery, drinks and food and other relevant tools, coordinate with suppliers, control delivery and invoicing
· Uphold grooming and styling standards
· Perform other duties as directed
· Specification addressed to Stock Supervisor in Agile Cluster
· Contribute, in collaboration with the store management, in the execution of the administrative and back office store duties
· Contribute to the BoH performance and activities in order to smooth operations and facilitate the collaboration between the FoH and BoH teams
· Specification addressed to Stock Manager/Supervisor in Bottom Heavy/Bottom Heavy Multi-site Department/Top Heavy/Full structure Clusters
· Support the store management in the execution of the administrative and back office store duties
· Contribute to the BoH performance and activities in order to smooth operations and facilitate the collaboration between the FoH and BoH teams
· Assure to be aligned with his/her FoH and also BoH colleagues
