About You
As a Solutions Manager, you are passionate about driving successful quantitative research and data projects and have corresponding experience to match, including conducting end-to-end quantitative research, from survey design to data analysis, results visualisation through to insights generation. You thrive on taking full ownership for research delivery and collaborating with strategy consultants to drive business opportunities. You provide insights into cutting-edge client solutions, and lead and develop a team that consistently delivers high-quality services for clients.
The Role
As a Solutions Manager at DT your primary focus will be on delivering research projects that intelligently combine our people, our thinking, and our unique approach to advisory services. You will work with leading companies in the life sciences sector, helping them conceptualise, enable, and thrive on their transformational efforts.
Specifically, you will lead research projects and solutions to the highest levels of client satisfaction by:
* Co-defining research strategies and proposals that integrate various research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, social listening, and internal sources)
* Conducting quantitative research and analysis across multiple projects
* Managing end-to-end research projects, including the design of survey methodologies, sampling strategies, questionnaires, and result delivery methods
* Designing and conducting Voice of Customer research using social listening sources (social networks and search engine data)
* Analysing internal data sources and producing data and insights deliverables for specific clients, as well as for broader/open publications
* Overseeing and guiding survey deployment and data processing tasks performed by internal and external teams
* Designing the data delivery format and content, ensuring quality through oversight of internal and external team members
* Delivering research insights and contributing to the development of strategic consulting based on findings
Outside of project work you will:
* Contribute to DT’s proposition development
* Drive the Reporting & Visualization Center of Excellence (CoE); dedicating around a third of your time to ensure end-to-end process design for data transformation from Excel to Tableau/PowerBI, overseeing high-quality output, implementing robust QC systems, and exploring automation opportunities to scale processes efficiently for DT
* Support business development: develop client relationships, identify and define opportunities and projects, and write business proposals
* Collaborate with DTs Account Leads in writing new point-of-views, industry benchmark reports and other insight documents
* Support analyst team upskilling in your areas of expertise (BI tools, research skills…)
Essential requirements
* Experience in Pharma market research (not clinical / bench) or relevant Business Intelligence role, 6-12 years within an agency / consultancy environment
* Tableau expertise is essential; additional PowerBI/Data Visualisation skills are an advantage
* Ability to design and run quant surveys (tool experience not essential but valued)
* Experience in engaging with business stakeholders; strategic consultants, research consultants, clients.
* Technical proficiency to oversee the full deployment of MR and data projects, internally and externally
* Experience in pricing and contributing to proposals
* Deep expertise in quantitative research, data management and analysis
* Demonstrable experience with various quantitative research methodologies and survey approaches
* Experience overseeing survey deployment (controlling correct programming, quota fulfilment, data quality review)
* Experience designing data delivery (crosstab design, graphs design) and overseeing the data processing delivery
* Experience running a team of data analysts is an advantage and you are motivated to train and mentor analysts on research and BI projects
* Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics, Social Sciences, Business, or Marketing.

* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise, coordinate and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

You will be based in our UK office and visit clients around the world. This role does not involve prolonged periods working at a single client site. International travel can take up a small, ad-hoc amount of your time. All candidates must be eligible to work in the relevant location.
