Job summary Are you someone who thrives on helping and supporting peopleIf so we have the job for you An exciting job opportunity has arisen in our Administration department for the Integrated Single Point of Access (ISPA) We work in conjunction with community nurses and occupational therapists who deliver patient care to Winchester, Andover, Alton and Basingstoke districts. Known as the Mid & North Hampshire patch. We are searching for someone who is patient focused, striving to give every patient who they interact with in the service to the right care. Providing excellent telephone manner to both Patients and Nurses and the ability to address and answer email referrals professionally. This is the perfect post for anyone who has previous experience within an administration role or knowledge of community health and social care. However, it is not essential as full training is provided. We are looking for someone who is a great team player but can also work independently, with great communication skills and the ability to be flexible, adapt and prioritise to ensure quality care is fully focused on. Main duties of the job The team provides an essential service that will include taking a variety of calls daily from patients, carers, relatives, GP's, hospitals and other health care providers. These calls are to be answered in a timely manner and accuracy is essential in recording of information, we pride ourselves on the work that's produced and always ask for a quality over quantity approach. These ensure the highest level of service is provided to all. Along side the calls we have an email inbox where similar requests and referrals will be received, and again these are to be accurately accounted for and treated with the same respect as a service user who has called into the service.
