Group Finance Manager
Scale PO2 / PO3 (NJC Points 29 – 35): £38,626 - £44,711 per annum
37 hours per week, All Year Round (Term time only working will be considered)

Our finance teams play a pivotal role across our academies, and we have an opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join the team. This role will be predominantly based at Trinity MAT Offices, Maltings Road, HX2 0TJ but will play a key role in supporting the finances at our primary schools (Trinity Academy St. Chad’s, Trinity Academy Akroydon and Trinity Academy St. Peter’s). Due to this, the role will require some travel to each of these sites to ensure there is an accurate and timely flow of information.
This is a new and exciting role which will focus on the quality of the financial data produced and how that is communicated with the Executive Leadership, the CFO and Governors for the three primary schools and the central budget. You will:
• Manage all finance issues including payroll, budgeting and banking matters, producing accurate and timely information
• Communicate and present financial information to a range of leadership and management audiences with the ability to confidently answer questions
• Ensure all aspects of the academy’s financial management is operated and developed to a high standard
• Provide guidance and advice to leaders and management on all financial matters
• Play a part in supporting other academies in the trust, as required
What are we looking for?
• Full or part accountancy qualification (a minimum of L4 AAT or part/full qualification in CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA etc.)
• Recent relevant experience of working in a financial management role
• Experience of using accounting and finance software
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
