Care Manager based at Hall Grange, Croydon
Available Hours:
Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.
The Care Manager is a member of the Senior team and supports the Home Manager and senior team in all aspects of the Home's management. This will include assisting in the management, development and evaluation of all aspects of service provision in the home, within policy guidelines ensuring that all relevant legislation, the organisation's Policies and Procedures and codes of practice are adhered to. Also to take temporary complete charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager, when required.
This is an excellent opportunity to combine your management skills with your nursing experience. You will need a 1st level Registered Nurse qualification and current PIN, with a recognised professional management qualification and a willingness to develop.
The successful candidate will directly manage and supervise care and ancillary staff to enable them to maximise their potential through leadership, example and guidance. To form and maintain open and constructive relationships with all who have either an interest, or statutory duty, to ensure good practice and so enhance the quality of life for the residents. These will include residents, relatives/carers, staff (local, Regional and Head Office, volunteers, Chaplain together with statutory service professionals). And to help maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the Values of Methodist Homes deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff.
