Job Details Art Technician Permanent 12 hours per week across 3 – 4 days Required from October 2024 Term Time Only plus INSET Days NJC GRADE 4, points 5 - 6 £23,500 - £23,893 (£6,566 - £6,676 pro rata) Are you an experienced Art Technician? Do you have an active interest and experience in Art and Design? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the post of Art Technician to start as soon as possible. This important role involves assisting with the co-ordination of resources and facilities to meet the practical needs of the Art curriculum. The successful applicant will possess a genuine interest in the subject. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but more important is a willingness to learn and train on the job. Applicants should have effective communication skills and be self-confident in dealing with young people. The role will require you To be on hand to support the teacher with class practical work To prepare resources for teaching staff To maintain stock levels of materials and consumables To maintain all department equipment, tools and materials To manage student payments for materials, equipment and folders.
