You will have experience of working within a care setting and will understand the importance of ensuring patients recieve a positive experience during their stay. You will have excellent communication skills, integrity and value working within a dedicated team.
If this is you, then this is a really fantastic opportunity to work in our very unique service at Bursledon House, a ten bedded paediatric inpatient unit which is part of Southampton Children's Hospital. We care for children (0-16yrs) and their families who are experiencing limitations of managing a chronic condition such as long standing constipation and soiling, sleep disorders, selective eating, anxiety, diabetes, obesity, chronic fatigue, rehabilitation following brain injury whom are wanting to get their lives back on track and with a multi-disciplinary team approach our aim is to do just that.

1. NVQ 3 in health and social care or equivalent
2. Numeracy and Literacy skills at level 1 or 2 or equivalent

5. Understanding of acute hospital environment and the role of a Senior Healthcare Assistant
