ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Spurgeons’ people strategy, driving workforce development, and enhancing organisational culture. Acting as a trusted advisor and coach, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations, change management, and people management, ensuring managers are equipped to lead effectively and confidently navigate complex people challenges. You will use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement. With a focus on performance, engagement, and organisational growth, you will influence key initiatives that support a thriving and motivated workforce, helping Spurgeons attract, develop, and retain talent while delivering lasting impact for children, young people, and families. Regular national travel is required.

Confident in advising and influencing at all levels, you bring a solution-focused approach to complex HR challenges, ensuring managers feel supported and empowered. With strong analytical skills, you can interpret workforce data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. You thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery.
