You’ll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you’ll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team.
Our store
Based in Beccles, this modern 4 test room store has been serving the local market-town community for the past 3 years. With free parking ight behind the store and future plans for expansion, this small store has a lot to offer.
Our team
With a total of 20 in-store colleagues and all staff members qualified to a minimum of Cert 3, you will have access to a wealth of knowedge and support in all areas of the business.
Development is very much at the heart of the store, with 1 of their resident Optometrists currently being supported through the Specsavers pathway development programme, another undertaking the Independent Prescribing course and 3 TDO's on the shopfloor.
Community is also key and the Beccles team play an active role, regularly fundraising for donations towards their chosen charity - a local donkey sanctuary!

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date). You’ll also need to be confident and passionate about providing the best customer service and work well as part of a team.
