We are recruiting a key role to support the performance partnership with the National Football League (NFL) and Loughborough College, forming the NFL's only global Academy.

About the Role
The NFL Academy is a major international initiative driven by the NFL, which aims to use American football to create life-changing opportunities for young people. The NFL Academy offers student athletes aged 16-19 from around the world the opportunity to combine their education with a life skills programme and intensive training in the sport, under the guidance of professional coaches and performance staff.
You will be joining a team at Loughborough University with a proven track record of developing elite-level athletes, including Olympic and Paralympic champions. As part of this team, you will support the development of NFL Academy athletes and play a key role in the growth of American Football in the UK and globally.
The successful candidate will lead and manage a talented Performance Support Team to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) stipulated by the NFL. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Strength and Conditioning, coaching expertise to maximize performance for a diverse group of athletes, critical thinking, and an understanding of medical governance to maximize game availability and return to play timelines.
The role will require flexible working patterns, including some evening/weekend work and attendance at fixtures.
