Duties:
* Assist the Section Manager in managing the Safeguarding and Legal Team covering the County Borough of Conwy, providing services to Children and Families in need of a Care and Support Plan and Children in Need of Protection in the local community.
* Quality assuring court reports and attending court/ PLO Meetings.
* Be responsible for the oversight and governance of case management through the supervision and management of level 2 & 3 Social Workers; ensuring the production of quality assessments which identify needs and outcome focused care and support plans.
* To assist the Section Manager manage the delivery of needs-led services to children and families.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current Social Care Wales registration
* Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.
* Significant frontline experience in Adults/Children’s Services working as a Team Manager
* Technology & software skills
* Must live locally or within a commutable distance as the position is located in Conwy County.
