A well-recognised charity based in London is looking for an Interim Payroll Manager to join immediately. The role is for an initial 6 months with 1-2 days a month in London.

Description
The Interim Payroll Manager will:
1. Oversee and manage the entire payroll function for a large workforce.
2. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
3. Manage and co-ordinate an efficient payroll service.
4. Assist in the monthly balancing of payroll.
5. Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain and update payroll information.
6. Coordinate with the HR department to verify total hours worked.
7. Process payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades.
8. Be responsible for assessing and monitoring overpayments and underpayments.
9. Take a lead role in projects.
10. Line manage a team of 8.
Profile
The Interim Payroll Manager will have:
1. Previous experience managing payroll for over 2000 people.
2. Exposure to spinal point payments (essential).
3. Previous experience working in a large organisation or a shared service environment.
4. Previous experience working in NFP, Healthcare, or NHS (desirable).
Job Offer
Interim Payroll Manager
6 months initially
Based in London with 1-2 days a month in the office.
£50-60,000 per annum day rate equivalent on offer.
Immediate Start.
