We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Uniformed Services Lecturer based at our Willerby Grove Campus (with an expectation that you will be able to work across all 3 sites) on a full time permanent basis working 36 hours per week. Main Duties of the Role: The post holder operates as course lead and is responsible for the effective and efficient organisation and delivery of high-quality transformative learning programmes designed to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all. Undertaking a range of administration and course programme/subject leadership duties as well as undertaking teaching duties. Proactively contribute to curriculum and self-development (including CPD, research and scholarly activity) aligned to current and future business need and supporting growth and development of the curriculum. Demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviours of the organisation. Essential Requirement: Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy A teaching qualification Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS (or willingness to work toward) Minimum of Level 3 qualification relevant subject area. TAQA Level 3 & 4 or equivalent (or willingness to work towards) Vocation Experience in specialist industry. Experience of delivery to a wide range of learners (14-19). Experience of successfully teaching a vocational subject across a range of levels. Proven track record of delivering good and better teaching. Knowledge of Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. Knowledge of Equality and Diversity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel, and Teams.
