Transport Planner
Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday 11:30 - 19:30
Premier Park, London
A great opportunity for an experienced Planner to join our distribution and logistics team at our Premier Park depot. You will be joining a small team that keep our network running, ensuring we deliver an exceptional level of service to our customers.
You’ll be responsible for making sure all routes are optimised so that operational targets are achieved – your amazing planning and organisational skills will be critical to your success. With no two days the same, you will need to be able to adapt accordingly and deal with unexpected issues as they arise, ensuring that all stakeholders are communicated with in an effective and timely manner. As you would expect within logistics, this is a deadline driven role where you will need to balance the needs of drivers, customers, and account managers – staying calm and focused to get the job done. Working closely with depot operational colleagues, you will also review and refine delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and analyse data from a variety of systems and sources to identify areas for future improvements.
To join us in this role you will be an experienced user of technology and specifically applications, particularly the MS Office package, you would also be able to demonstrate adaptability with using new processes and/software and application. experience using planning software previously such as Roadnet and Paragon and also to be a user of SAP would also be advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements for the role, however you would need to be able to demonstrate competency with the use of various technology variants (even if they are not directly applicable), as well as being adaptable.
