The Northern Cancer Alliance is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Delivery Manager to support our Non-surgical Oncology programme taking a lead on the implementation of our agreed Acute Oncology (AOS) model across the North East and North Cumbria. This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative team committed to reducing treatment variation and enhancing patient experience.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Drive the delivery of the Acute Oncology Service model and support all elements of the Non-surgical Oncology programme.
2. Collaborate with clinical directors, programme managers, and key stakeholders to implement innovative cancer care strategies.
3. Monitor project progress and ensure high-quality service delivery.
4. Champion patient and public involvement in policy development and decision-making.
5. Foster partnerships and cross-boundary working to achieve strategic objectives.

Training and Experience
Essential
* Educated to master's level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
* Extensive knowledge of specialist areas acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent.
* Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development.
* Comprehensive experience of project principles, techniques, and tools such as Prince 2 and Managing Successful Projects.
* Experience of managing and motivating a team/virtual team and reviewing performance of the individuals.
* Experience of identifying and interpreting national policy.
Desirable
* Member of relevant professional body.
