What will this role consist of?
The Business Analyst Team Lead will work within the ClearCourse Membership Service (CCMS) area, leading, managing and working within a customer-focused team of Business Analysts. The BA team is dedicated to delivering new customer implementations for the different CCMS solutions as well as customer led changes to their existing CCMS products.
This role involves gaining an in-depth understanding of current products and adhering to CCMS Business Analyst guidelines and processes. The Team Lead will aid CCMS in developing its functions, services, and products to meet goals with both internal and external stakeholders.
The Team Lead will ensure projects adhere to timelines and will report progress to the Project Manager and clients and keeping the BA manager informed.
As a Business Analyst Team Lead you will be expected to lead team meetings, support and mentor team members, identify training and development needs, whilst addressing any potential performance issues through effective management, leadership, coaching, and training.
Working within delivery teams, that typically consist of Developers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects, QA Testing Engineers, Business Analysts, UX/UI specialists, and a ScrumMaster/Project Manager, for both Waterfall and Scrum projects; the Team Lead is accountable for maintaining high standards in all BA work and ensuring a common approach is adopted whilst delivering client solutions. Some UK-based travel may be required.
Desirable experience/charactersitics :
8. A minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience in a software development environment.
9. Collaborative team player with strong leadership skills
10. Previous experience of working within membership services
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to a range of audiences
12. Excellent documentation skills.
13. Proficient in Visio with workflow design in BPMN
14. Experience working with Jira and/or DevOps
15. Ability to engage with all levels of internal and client organisations, constructively challenging and influencing others to achieve the best solution
16. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
17. A proven track record of following through on commitments.
18. Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within project timeframes
19. Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
20. A history of supporting successful projects.
