An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Senior Facilities Manager, Contracts Manager, or Account Manager to lead the FM operations at The Hive, Worcester. This high-profile, multi-use PFI facility serves as a library, document archive, social service hub, and café, with stakeholders including Worcester Council and Worcester University.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Hard and Soft FM services, including planned and reactive maintenance (PPMs), catering, cleaning, grounds maintenance, and security. Managing a dedicated internal team and a range of sub-contractors, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the facility while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.

And as a Account Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by
* Lead and manage the delivery of all FM services across the site, ensuring high standards and contractual compliance.
* Manage and develop an internal FM team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Oversee and coordinate subcontractor performance to ensure service delivery meets required standards.
* Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including the SPV, local authority, and Worcester University, ensuring effective communication and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory, health & safety, and environmental requirements.
* Prepare and present regular reports on FM performance, financials, and risk management.
* Drive efficiencies and improvements in service delivery, seeking opportunities for innovation and cost-saving measures.
* Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control to ensure value for money.
* Respond proactively to operational challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Account Manager, you’ll need
* Proven experience in a senior FM, contracts management, or account management role within a PFI or similar complex contractual environment.
* Strong knowledge of Hard and Soft FM services, including maintenance, cleaning, catering, and security.
* Demonstrable leadership experience in managing internal teams and external subcontractors.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial planning, budget management, and cost control.
* A thorough understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Relevant FM qualifications (e.g., IWFM Level 5 or above) and/or technical background would be advantageous.

Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from Worcester Library, Worcester, WR1 3PB Monday to Friday plus on call out of hours.
