JOB SUMMARY
Marriott International’s Managed hotels in the Central London Cluster seek a dynamic, creative and customer focused Cluster Sales Manager for our amazing five properties:
1. London Marriott Hotel County Hall
2. London Marriott Hotel Kensington
3. London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale
4. London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch
5. London Marriott Hotel Regents Park
The Cluster Sales Manager is responsible for managing the relationship of assigned key accounts and generating new business within their designated cluster of hotels, with a focus on Sports and Entertainment. The primary intent is to drive sales for the hotels in the cluster across all business segments. The Cluster Sales Manager will proactively manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and work in-conjunction with stakeholder hotels to ensure sales revenue targets are achieved.
The Cluster Sales Manager provides sales support at both a cluster and property level.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Sales and Marketing
10. Proactive Sales - Maintains and grows business from existing accounts and generates new business in group, catering and transient business, with a focus on Sports and Entertainment, to achieve targets for the Cluster Hotels.
11. Creates account and new business strategies across the assigned Cluster Hotel
12. Coordinates and completes sales activity and follow-up
13. Work with the hotels and wider sales teams (such as National and Global Sales) to support closure of key enquiries
14. Maintains current business relationships and networks for new business
15. Develops contracts and correspondence, manages opportunity details and proactively develops customer solutions.
16. Hotel Communication – Coordinates with hotels for site inspections, FAM trips and hospitality. Updates hotels on the status of their accounts and pending business and ensures follow-through and property “buy in” on customers service needs
17. Strategic Direction – Works with the Account Director and Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing on account productivity, opportunities and strategic direction.
18. Assumes leadership role, as requested by Account Director and Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, on ad hoc task forces and projects
19. Maintains accurate and up to date account data and reporting
20. Assists the Properties as needed
Revenue Management
21. In partnership with Revenue Management, develops business sales strategy for assigned accounts and new business segments to achieve hotel and individual goals
22. Partners with Revenue Management for annual pricing process and request for pricing (RFPs)
23. Monitors local, regional and national business outlook and consults with Revenue Management on strategy
