HG are recruiting for a Senior Transport Clerk for our Client based in Hatfield, offering an exciting opportunity to support the Transport Manager with a range of daily tasks. This role involves the following key responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and coordinating tasks for Transport Clerks
* Data gathering and reporting on a weekly and periodical basis, in line with operational processes
* Support the delivery of Cost Control, Safety, Productivity, Service Excellence, and Culture within the team
* Ensure that vehicles depart at the correct temperature for each journey
* Oversee Pre Brief and Debrief compliance
* Conduct Pre-Journey driver checks with the Transport Clerks
* Ensure all Admin Legal compliance is met
* Cover Day and Night shifts as per the rota
* Provide additional support during Section Managers' holidays
Candidate Requirements:
* A keen passion for transport and eagerness to learn
* Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment
* Strong understanding of Driver's Hours, Transport Regulations, and the Working Time Directive
* Excellent geographical knowledge
* A customer-focused attitude with a high level of attention to detail

* Available shifts: 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 2200-0600
* Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends
