If you are a Fully Qualified English Tutor looking to work on a part-time basis in Lincoln and the surrounding areas, then this role may be for you!
We are looking for driven and effective English tutors to expand our talent pool here at TP-Tutors. As a tutor, you will need to build a relationship with the student to help tailor your approach to cater to their additional needs and preferences. We offer work on a long-term and short-term basis to fit around your commitments. So, even if you aren’t looking for something immediately but would like to learn more, we want to hear from you!
The pay for tutoring is £25-£30 per hour. It is desirable for applicants to hold a full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils will need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.
Requirements for the role:
1. Professional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, PGCE, etc.).
2. An excellent grasp of the English Language.
3. A desire to promote, encourage, and motivate yourself and your students.
4. An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
5. A strong subject knowledge of the English Language and Literature Curriculum.
6. Experience of working with young people and delivering GCSE level content (Desirable).
7. Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
