About the role
Our friendly team at Thameside plays an important role in providing engaging and excellent customer service to our visitors. We are seeking a casual Centre Assistant to work on a casual worker basis.
We are looking for a friendly individual with an interest in customer service to join Essex Wildlife Trust in this visitor engagement role. The profits from the Nature Discovery Centre support our conservation, educational, and other vital work.
Responsibilities
* Engage with visitors in a welcoming and professional manner, both in retail and food and beverage areas.
* Use the till, prepare and serve hot and cold refreshments, clear tables, restock retail stock, and interact with customers.
Working conditions
This role is for a casual worker with no set hours. Available hours are offered to casual workers who can accept or decline them.
Casual hours are available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday, throughout the year. Most shifts are 4 hours within the centre's operating hours. The hourly rate is £12.21.
