The Senior Project Manager - Operational Technology (OT) is responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to industrial control systems and automation within an organisation. As Senior Project Manager - OT you will be to lead the delivery of programmes of change from initiation through to service transition, matrix managing all project resources and managing relationships/deliverables with third party providers and internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for supporting the Programme Manager in delivery of the overall portfolio, including supporting with scoping, definition and management of resources across the team. Your responsibilities are to include: Project Planning and Initiation : Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including technical teams, executive management, and external vendors. Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Project Execution : Oversee the execution of OT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with technical teams to implement OT solutions. Monitoring and Reporting : Track project progress and performance. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and report on project milestones, issues, and risks. Team Leadership : Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication. Provide technical supervision and guidance as needed. Vendor Management : Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers. Ensure that all external contributions align with project goals and requirements. Security Integration : Incorporate security-by-design principles into all OT solutions, ensuring that security requirements are considered concurrently with technical requirements. Skills and experience needed: Education : further education college/university, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Certifications : PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications. Experience : Proven experience in project management, particularly in OT or industrial control systems projects. Familiarity with OT tools and best practices. Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
