Job Description Reception Team Lead Woodland & Glendon Wood Hospitals | 37.5hrs per week, Full-time The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to manage and develop our Reception Team and processes at Woodland and Glendon Wood Hospitals. The Reception Team is an integral part of the hospital function with strong linkage to both internal and external customers. This role is an integral part of driving excellent customer service alongside administrative processes. This position requires an individual who consistently exhibits a positive attitude and has proven experience of managing successful teams whilst developing processes and reporting systems pivotal to driving and managing our current business. You will have proven experience of delivering results within a pressured environment. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to challenge behaviours whilst making significant change at pace. With demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel packages) your attention to detail and accuracy is essential as is the ability to effectively time manage a busy team workload. Woodland and Glendon Wood Hospitals are leading private facilities located in Kettering. Both hospitals form part of the larger Ramsay group with staff working collaboratively across both sites. The hospitals offer Outpatient and Diagnostic Services across both sites including X-ray imaging, CT Scanning and MRI scanning. There are both Day case and Inpatient areas in both sites providing surgical provision for a number of specialities including Orthopaedics, Spinal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy and others. Responsibilities Providing an efficient front of house service excelling in customer service as the first point of call for all hospital visitors. Leading team to ensure that all mandatory Patient information data is obtained and available for the arrival of customers i.e. online registration forms and medical questionnaires Registering outpatient appointment arrivals on PAS Registering radiology appointments on RIS/PACS Managing petty cash Emergency phone, paging system Visitors/contractors sign in via intellicentrics Ensuring data is correctly captured in order to ensure full and successful payments for procedures and appointments. Ensuring patient record is maintained with appropriate financial class Processing incoming/outgoing mail Managing the hospital telephone system, ensuring all calls are answered in agreed timescales and directed accordingly. Ensure each patient has completed the required patient information form prior to each visit and that this information is updated onto PAS within 24 hours of receipt.
