Supporting the Contract Manager and Engineering Team in the delivery of hard FM services across PFI Medical centres and Leisure Centre in the Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Compliance through planned audits, inspections, testing and reviewing compliance logbooks.
2. Ensure all Compliance records are always up to date and available on each site to be viewed.
3. Escalate any non-compliance issues to the Contract Management.
4. Produce up-to-date ad hoc reports on request covering all services, managing the CAFM for all planned and reactive works.
5. Meet with clients and auditors as necessary and attend meetings ensuring all agreed actions are completed.
6. Maintain buildings and sites across the contract portfolio as required.
7. Take ownership of maintenance delivery at all sites.
8. Support all sites as and when required.
9. Be on call for emergencies.
10. Organise the on-call rota sharing with Helpdesk.
11. Supervise the maintenance team.
12. Ensure the engineering team is competent and fully supported in all tasks.
13. Ensure the engineering team is fully trained for their tasks and that refresher courses are planned and implemented, consulting with the Contract Manager.
14. Work closely with the contract scheduler and assist in the allocation of tasks to engineers.
15. Prioritise own and engineers' workload.
16. Delegate tasks to engineers where required using skill base.
17. Supervise subcontractors as required.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Ideally have a minimum of 3 years supervisory or acting supervisory experience in building maintenance and/or Facilities management.
2. Previous trade training in M&E and experience preferred.
3. Be a good all-round experienced maintenance engineer to complete minor works and reactive tasks.
4. Use and plan your time to meet the requirements of the daily and weekly working and assist colleagues.
5. Capable of competently using the IT provided.
6. Be prepared to complete any task requested of you in the maintenance and support of the Contract implementation.
7. Attend training as required to enhance supervisory and technical skills.
8. Knowledge of H&S.
