Role Summary:
* Ensure that routine and reactive maintenance is carried out to client assets, equipment and systems
* Ensure all work requests are carried out within SLA
* Work closely with onsite teams
* Ability to carry out fault issues arising
* Respond to Building Management System alarms, escalate and complete emergency repairs as required
* Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Safe System of Work (Induction, RA MS, Permit to Work etc)
* Ensure that ACOP’s applicable to the maintenance industry are followed
* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
* Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes
* Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and client’s staff
* Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required
* Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and always ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted
* Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning
* Ensure logbooks, shift hand-over and the client’s reporting is updated regularly and accurately
* Have a flexible attitude to working overtime to cover other members of staff where needed.
* Identify and report potential hazards
* Set up meeting rooms for events and reset post events
* Carry out porterage duties where required
Experience Required:
* Basic education is essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in multi skilled disciplines (mechanical, fabric, water hygiene)
* Experience of critical environment facilities maintenance, but not limited to, BMS operation, testing of electrical systems
* Basic/Intermediate electrical experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance
* Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
* Good computer skills are a necessity with ability to demonstrate a good use of excel, word and outlook
* Excellent fault-finding skills
* Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
* Calm manner, able to work under pressure
* Sound knowledge and experience of Environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements
* Organisational and planning skills; manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
