About Us

Beyond running busy sites with large teams, we also engage in community and charitable activities, such as planting trees, tying Rakhis, and donating meals through 'Meal for a Meal'. As of January 2024, we have donated 20 million meals to children in the UK and India. Each Dishoomwalle contributes 55 meals per shift to this cause.

We are looking for a Chef/Demi Chef de Partie to join our Permit Room in Oxford!
Our Permit Rooms are dedicated to providing seriously good food, excellent drinks, great music, and good cheer. We recently won the top spot for Best Cocktails at the Bravo awards 2024!

Role Details
* £12.60/hour, paid monthly.
* Full-time, 5 days/week, with availability from Monday to Sunday.
* Varied shifts including daytime and evening, not always late nights.
* Access to training programs and development opportunities.
* Paid holidays, including Christmas and Boxing Day, plus an extra day for parents to take children to school.
* Chef whites provided; safety shoes required.
Ideal Candidate
As a Chef/Demi Chef de Partie, you should:
* Love cooking and learning new skills, thriving in a busy kitchen environment.
* Be a master of your section, whether Breakfast, Grill, Fryer, Curry, or Tandoor, ensuring it’s prepped, organized, and ready for service.
* Show potential for growth, with annual pay increases over three years as you develop with Dishoom.
