Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Parramatta or Newcastle

The opportunity
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will support our Managed Fund Claims teams by implementing and giving effect to the Quality Management Framework. You will apply your specialist skills in conducting file reviews and implementing other quality assurance techniques and tools. Engage with the claims teams in a consultative capacity to provide feedback to uplift capabilities and improve performance in support of business goals and objectives.
Your new role
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will undertake quality assurance reviews to assess Case Manager output across our Managed Funds portfolio, to ensure that QBE is meeting legislative requirements.
In this position, you will:
* Analyse and present findings (including risk items) from file reviews, as well as deliver internal reporting requirements.
* Provide positive and constructive feedback and coaching to Case Managers on review outcomes.
* Where required, participate in regulatory forums and provide updates to relevant management teams.
* Where required, undertake reviews assessing QBE’s adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrate compliance with relevant laws, regulations, licenses, industry codes, and company policies.
About you
* Solid experience as a Case Manager within NSW Workers Compensation.
* Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise a monthly schedule and work well to deadlines.
* Excellent communicator (written and verbal), with strong facilitation and relationship building skills.
* An experienced coach who is confident in analysing performance and providing feedback.
* Prior experience in file reviews or audit.
* Experience training individuals or teams.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
