In this role, you’ll support the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of our cutting-edge technology plants across the UK and globally. Team Leadership: Define the ICA and Electrical Engineering team's needs, onboard new members, and manage subcontractors and suppliers. Design and Innovation: Drive the design and delivery of SCADA, PLC, and telemetry systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Site Engagement: Manage onsite project deployments, including setup, testing, and commissioning of systems, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. About you: Degree qualified in Electrical or Control Engineering (or a relevant science/technology discipline). 510 years of experiencein operational electrical, control, and automation projects. Professional registration with the Engineering Council as a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer. Strong background in SCADA, PLC systems, electrical supplies, instrumentation systems, and MCC functionality with significant experience in delivering electrical engineering low voltage design aspects of infrastructure projects as an Electrical Design Engineer. This includes design experience to BS7671 gained within a relevant engineering sector. Be technically sound and able to work mainly unsupervised in the preparation and/or review of electrical and ICA design package deliverables such as technical specifications, calculations, reports, datasheets, schedules, single line diagrams, block cabling diagrams, control philosophies, user requirement specifications and network architecture. Proficient understanding of instrumentation and control systems and their integration with the electrical system. Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally. Full UK driver's license. Have unrestricted UK Right to Work. Desirables: Experience in fastgrowing SMEs, recycling technologies, material handling, or feedstock equipment. Familiarity with cybersecurity, data logging, and telemetry outstations.
