Forklift license essential and full driving license preferred. Overall duties in yard and shop area, ensuring that all customers are served and loaded efficiently. Working as part of a team - Daily – Check delivery schedule against the Delivery Notes to ensure all paperwork is present and all orders have been paid for before they leave the premises. Work closely with the delivery driver to ensure that all times given to customers are met. Assist as and when required, with picking loads for next day deliveries. Loading/unloading customers who visit the depot to collect or return materials. (Using the loading tickets given to you from the shop staff). General maintenance duties around the yard. IE painting/repairing, keep yard clean and tidy and stacks level. Loading/unloading of vehicles by use of Fork Lift Truck or basic manual handling.
