Mid-Level PHP Developer (Laravel) - Hybrid/Remote
Location: Cheshire (Flexible/ Hybrid Working Options)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading creative digital agency, is seeking a talented Mid-Level PHP Developer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse web applications and digital solutions for clients across industries, including hospitality, retail, and professional services.
As a PHP Developer, you'll play a key role in developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality web solutions. You'll collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel framework).
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to plan and deliver projects on time and within scope.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of commercial experience, ideally in an agency environment.
Proficiency in:
PHP (Laravel)
HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue.js preferred)
RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
MySQL and version control tools (Git/Bitbucket)
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Desirable Skills:
Experience with tools such as Nuxt.js, AWS, Forge, ClickUp, and Sentry.io.
Familiarity with TDD and unit testing methodologies.Why Apply?
