Internal Sales Executive/Administrator (Electronics Manufacturer)
Fully onsite at the GivEnergy Head Office in ST5 9HX, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. You must have the ability to reliably commute, or plan to relocate before starting work
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, permanent, 37.Experience Level: Due to the nature of the role, background experience in inside sales in the renewable energy or related industry is preferred
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 pa DOE plus performance bonus scheme
GivEnergy is a manufacturer of electronic equipment designed to manage energy use and production. We specialise in our range of inverters and battery systems which allow our users to store their renewable/cheap-rate energy, ease pressure on the grid and save some serious money.
This is an opportunity to work with a globally established energy storage manufacturer providing first line support for incoming sales requests. You will be responsible for building relationships with prospective product wholesalers and installers, understanding their needs and recommending solutions that meet their business objectives.
Inbound lead response - efficiently dealing with and responding to inbound phone and digital sales enquiries from stakeholders such as wholesalers and installers.
High-level report generation and data/trend analysis to steer the departments growth.
Building and managing strong relationships with customers, wholesalers and installers.
Conduct needs assessments and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or promotions to existing clients.
Being a brand ambassador - sales support at relevant industry events within the UK and Europe.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
An understanding of, or sales experience within the renewable energy or electronics industry.
Strong experience in administration in a sales environment is essential (B2B preferred).
Commercial awareness- understanding costs and margins and applying these in sales negotiations.
Good understanding and ownership of order processing.
Strong IT skills and confidence with Outlook, spreadsheets, CRM systems, reporting etc.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to quarterly sales targets.
Efficient planning and organisation capability.
