• Circa £40k Salary (dependant on experience)
• Full Time Position Permanent Contract
• Location: Sherborne & Beaminster Offices 5 Days a Week, 08:30 - 17:00

About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring existing relationships are renewed and long-term customer relationships are maintained, effectively generating an overall sales growth by retention, cross-sales, and referrals. From handling day to day enquiries, renewal preparation, cross-selling through to negotiating new policies to existing clients as their businesses change & grow, asking for referrals and working with our service and claims advisers to ensure a smooth customer journey and taking payments, the role provides you with incredible variety with the opportunity to understand how all areas of the business work.
About You
Patient and reassuring, you always go at the customer's pace, making them feel comfortable whether discussing a policy renewal, answering general queries, or exploring new insurance opportunities. Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and open to new ideas, you bring an approachable style to building relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
It is essential that you have the following:
1. A person with real drive energy and enthusiasm.
2. A confident individual who can work well in a team, highly motivated with a positive mentality and a good team player.
3. Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills & relationship building abilities with the ability to influence decision makers at all levels of business, can work well within a team environment but can also focus on their own and team targets.
4. Can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide fantastic customer experience.
5. Experience of and an understanding of insurance or financial services is preferable, but not essential.
6. Strong IT literacy.
7. Minimum of Grade C /Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & English.
8. Full driving licence and access to your own car for customer visits.
