My Client, a Build Consultancy that works closely with large commercial buildings including Central & local Government buildings, is continuing to grow their project management team. We have an opportunity for a driven individual aspiring to progress their career within our team.
You will lead in the allocation of actions, tracking, monitoring, and reporting project progress. You will take complete responsibility for some of our smaller projects and support senior colleagues as you gain experience on our major programmes of work. You will update contractual milestones in project systems to ensure the document and project management plans are set, follow up on project progress, inform the main stakeholders of any deviations, and communicate time recording instructions to all employees.
You will need to have skills and experience in managing projects, programmes, and portfolios from inception to close out. You will demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office, and an outstanding awareness of the NEC suite is a MUST. Good communication skills and a full appreciation of Health & Safety competence, such as CDM & CSCS Card (can be attained on joining), are also required.
You ideally should come from a consultancy construction background, have the ability to lead a series of projects and manage client relationships, be proficient in the use of MS Office and similar digital software, and possess knowledge of project management plans. Previous experience working on civil engineering schemes and with the Environment Agency related projects is advantageous.
You should also have, or be willing to obtain, SC CLEARED status and have the following qualifications:
1. Diploma/BSc/MSc in project management
2. You will ideally be working (or considering working) towards achieving one of the qualifications below:
* MRICS
* MCIOB
* MAPM
* PRINCE2
