Employee Relations Advisor - York - £32,500 per annum, Hybrid Working My client is looking to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to coach and support people managers in all aspects of employee relations and provide pragmatic, consistent and timely advice in accordance with employment law and people policy and procedures to minimise formal cases and resolve cases in a timely and fair way. You will be responsible for managing the process of internal investigations into complex issues, alleged gross misconduct or serious SOVA (Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults) cases across the organisation. To apply for this role you must have/be: Educated to degree/comparable NVQ level or equivalent. Proven experience of working in a HR / ER Advisor role. Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice and ability to practically implement. Proven relevant experience carrying out employment investigations including grievance, disciplinary and attendance management. Ability to weigh up complex evidence and reach sound conclusions that are fair and reasonable while protecting the organisation. Experience of advising on a wide range of HR matters including all ER issues from disciplinaries and grievances to attendance management. Experience of managing and supporting an end to end investigation case within defined timescales. Experience in dealing with restructures, redundancy and TUPE situations. Ability to and/or experience of reviewing HR policies and procedures. Ability to work to challenging deadlines, manage multiple cases, and prioritise work accordingly.
