Shifts: Days Mon - Fri
What You Will Do:
Fit and assemble machine component parts, showcasing your precision and attention to detail.
Install hydraulic components and pipework on machines, enhancing functionality and performance.
Conduct machine setting and testing duties, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.
Interpret engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics, translating technical documents into actionable tasks.
Utilize manual and power tools effectively, maintaining safety and efficiency.
Engage in daily Toolbox talks, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
What You Will Bring:
A recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification.
Proficient use of engineering hand tools, portable power tools, and basic machine tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A thorough understanding of general arrangement and detailed drawings, as well as hydraulic schematics.
A positive attitude towards Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Procedures.

Current or recent experience mechanical engineer, service engineer, machine too fitter, mechanical technician, hydraulic technician or be ex REME or ex Forces apprentice
