Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant Banding: Band 3 Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Working hours: Full-time Start date: ASAP Rate: £13 - £15 per hour Duration: 3 months We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our esteemed client in Southend-on-Sea. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of pharmaceutical care, which is critical for accurate patient treatment and recovery. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with a broad spectrum of pharmacy-related tasks, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting pharmacy equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will support the pharmacy team in analysing and interpreting medication orders with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care. Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Ability to work effectively as part of a team Why work with Pulse?
