Our Stations team at Runcorn are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Team Leader.

We’re looking for a COMMITTED individual to work alongside the Station Manager to support the smooth operation of the station by setting new standards for customer experience and operational excellence across our network to the communities we serve.
With over 500,000 customers traveling weekly, no two days are the same! You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a safe and effective workplace for both staff and customers. Expect shift work, some weekends, and close collaboration with your team and the Station Manager.

As a Team Leader you will:
1. Ensure Safety and Efficiency: Monitor station platform procedures and conduct safety/security checks, inspections, and audits to maintain a secure environment.
2. Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Coordinate all customer service activities, especially during disruptions, to meet company specifications and passenger charter requirements.
3. Support the Station Manager: Manage day-to-day human resource issues, contractors, and premises, ensuring all work is carried out to specified standards.
4. Train Despatch: Assist with the correct and safe method of train despatch, preventing avoidable delays.
We’re looking for someone committed to high safety and customer service standards, with strong coordination and management skills, and the ability to work closely with others and support the team effectively.
