Office Coordinator\n Location: Newcastle, NE1 \n Contract Type: Temporary contract for 15/04/2025 - 25/04/2025 and 19/05/2025 – 11/07/2025 \n Salary: £13 per hour \n Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm \n\n Morson Talent is recruiting for an Office Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations and a professional environment for staff and visitors. This is a front-facing role where you will be the first point of contact, providing support across reception, facilities, and general office coordination. \n\nKey Responsibilities \n Front of House:\n\nGreet visitors and staff professionally, representing the company to the highest standard.\nManage security procedures, including signing in guests and issuing access passes.\nVerify visitor and staff ID badges before granting access.\nProvide essential health, safety, and security information, including emergency procedures.\n Facilities and Office Support: \n\nCoordinate contractor visits, ensuring all works are pre-approved.\nMonitor cleaning staff attendance and maintain office supplies such as post, printing, and kitchen essentials.\nEnsure all common areas and meeting rooms are well-maintained.\nSupport desk and meeting room booking systems, troubleshooting any issues.\n General Administration:\n\nManage the office switchboard via MS Teams.\nConduct regular checks on meeting room equipment to ensure functionality.\nMaintain a professional and welcoming reception area.\nArrange catering and refreshments for meetings when required.\n Who We Are Looking For\n\nPrevious experience in office coordination, reception, or facilities management.\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and customer service abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.\n This is a great opportunity to be at the centre of office operations, ensuring efficiency and professionalism across all areas.
