This role is ideal for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly in Early Years. You will be providing 1:1 support on Friday mornings, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to the child's individual needs. This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role: Supporting the Class Teacher with delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum. Working with a pupil in Key Stage 1 (KS1) to promote their learning and development. Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils with varying needs. Preparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning. Helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive school day. Delivering interventions in the schools' resource base. Required Skills and experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant Role: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, teaching assistance, or equivalent. A solid understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Strong experience with Challenging behaviour Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including: £85.02 to £95 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
