Power Networks Consultant (Electricity)

As a Networks Consultant, you will work closely with electricity network organisations to develop and deliver impactful projects that tackle regulatory, economic, and engineering challenges. You'll have the chance to become a recognised expert, working on key initiatives that influence the future of the electricity system and foster relationships with major industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support the development of strategies and innovation projects for electricity networks.
2. Manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for key stakeholders.
3. Write and review technical reports and proposals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
4. Generate new project ideas and pitch them to clients.
5. Support and lead the execution of projects, managing research, analysis, and team contributions.
6. Provide technical expertise on electricity network-related projects.
About You:
1. A degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in the power industry, with a focus on electricity networks.
3. Strong technical knowledge in power systems analysis, supported by experience with simulation tools.
4. Experience in consulting and project management is desirable.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build lasting client relationships.
6. A proactive problem-solver with strong commercial acumen.
