About us:
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure delivers some of the UKs most complex and critical infrastructure across six core sectors of energy, water, nuclear, highways, rail and aviation for public and private customers. Our people are our business. Through their expertise, we harness innovative ideas and approaches that enable us to safely and responsibly design and deliver resilient infrastructure upon which we all rely.
The role:
As a Lead Commissioning Engineer you will direct a team in the delivery of work and ensure activities are delivered in line with the established Start Up, Commissioning and Pre-Operations processes. This will include developing and executing delivery plans in line with project schedules, as well as reviewing and reporting on work progress and taking corrective actions where necessary. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team but will also collaborate regularly with other teams in your project as well as external vendors and stakeholders.
The ideal person:
You will have an HNC or equivalent Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline as well as experience of leading and/or supervising a team in a technical/engineering environment. It’s important that you have excellent communication skills and good leadership skills, as we’d love to develop this further as your career progresses.
Experience of working in Nuclear or a highly regulated environment is nice to have but if you are new to the industry and have the relevant skills and experience then we would love to hear from you.
