Multi-site Store Manager - Lavenham & Sudbury Location: Sudbury and Lavenham, Suffolk Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 per year, plus great benefits We're looking for a skilled Multi-site Store Manager to join our retail team. As a Multi-site Store Manager, you'll lead one empowered and collaborative team across two or more stores. This role combines our stores in Sudbury and Lavenham, Suffolk. In this role, you'll manage the delivery of the stores' offering, by guiding their commercial and community strategies. You'll bring together two diverse teams, and engage and motivate your people, often from a distance. You'll develop your skills as well as your teams, showing our customers, colleagues and members the difference Co-op brings to local communities. What you'll do - Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and have their voice heard - Develop your team through regular colleague conversations, equipping them with the skills to reach their potential and empowering team leaders to run stores in your absence - Make sure your stores are safe, legal and operational - Manage and optimise your stores' commercial and community strategies - Recruit new team members and manage HR processes This job would suit people who have - Significant experience as a retail store manager, guiding and developing teams working in a busy service-focused environment and managing store operations - Resilience and great problem solving skills - The ability to understand and analyse commercial information - Confidence in their ability to lead and coach colleagues to become high performing teams - Capacity to lead remotely, enable planning for more stores and be adaptable Why Co-op?
