Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in Residential Conveyancing? Join a respected and established Scottish firm in central Edinburgh, where your skills and experience will be truly valued.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy, detail-focused environment to support two Partners in their conveyancing practice. This is a traditional secretarial role with a strong focus on client care, document preparation, and organisational support.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing full secretarial support to two Partners
*
Drafting, formatting, and managing legal documents & correspondence
*
Handling client calls and liaising with solicitors and estate agents
*
Organising diaries, meetings, and appointments
*
Managing files (digital and paper), mail, and compliance paperwork
*
Conducting Land Registry searches and dealing with property documentation
*
Supporting with audio typing and digital dictation
What You’ll Bring:
*
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in residential conveyancing
*
Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
*
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*
Experience with Land Registry and audio typing highly desirable
*
Professional, friendly, and client-focused attitude
