We're on the hunt for a talented HR Assistant to become a valued member of our team at the bustling hub of Cardiff Bay headquarters. This role offers a hybrid work model, with a requirement for 50% of your week to be spent in the office.

JOB PROFILE
As an HR Assistant at Creditsafe Group, you will be crucial in supporting the organisation's day-to-day HR activity. You will need to develop an excellent understanding of the organisation, our strategy, and customers (both internal and external), as well as a very good understanding of the people challenges faced by the organisation. You must therefore have the ability and proven record of developing meaningful relationships with key people in your business area, and other people teams in the organisation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide first line advice and guidance to employees and line managers for all matters relating to the full employee lifecycle, escalating complex or high-risk cases to HRBP.
2. Co-ordinate, attend and provide support for ER meetings as required.
3. Liaising with occupational health for long term sickness and management referral cases.
4. Review and develop people related processes as appropriate, supporting continuous improvements.
5. Provide support and completion of wider HR projects as directed from HRBP’s/HR Director.
6. Provide support to HRBP’s in day-to-day management of ER related cases, ensuring timely conclusion of these as appropriate.
7. Provide support with HR based initiatives in areas such as engagement, wellbeing and EDI.
8. Track and provide data as requested, using data to suggest and implement initiatives.
The responsibilities detailed above are not exhaustive and you may be requested to take on additional responsibilities deemed as reasonable by your direct line manager.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* You should be qualified to at least a Level 3 CIPD qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing a wide variety of HR-related matters. (If you have proven demonstrable experience and are currently working towards CIPD qualification, we are happy with that if you are the right person for the role).
* Great interpersonal skills with the ability to support with sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy is a must.
* Excellent written skills and business acumen.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work on own initiative, and confidence to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficient with the full Microsoft suite, experienced using HR information systems (HRIS), and technically savvy in using other computer applications.
* The desire to focus on your personal and professional development is a must.
