Responsibilities
1. Partner with the development teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
2. Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation ofplex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
3. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
4. Develop knowledge of system flow and adopt best practice for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
5. Developprehensive knowledge of how areas of the bank, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to aplish business goals
6. Working with the team to define the architecture, design, development, code review, testing and maintenance of applications.
7. Be a self-starter and plan/schedule own work for tasks and projects, implement functionality without direct supervision.

Experience required
8. Strong knowledge on Java / Kotlin and restful web services including its data interchange format/definition such as XML, JSON.
9. Microservices systems
10. Kubernetes/Open shift containers.
11. Familiar with different persistent storage technologies such as RDBMS and NoSQL.
12. Experience working with source code management tools - Git or Bitbucket.
13. Good understanding of clean coding principles.
14. Must demonstrate strong familiarity of design patterns.
15. Proven experience of applying TDD and BDD practices and maintaining clean CI/CD pipelines
16. Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
Bonus points for
17. Understanding of Equity Derivatives technology or experience with other asset classes within Markets
18. Kotlin development experience
19. Knowledge of Equity Derivatives products and product lifecycle
20. Experience working with UI frameworks such as React or Angular
21. Experience working with OpenShift / Kubernetes or other Cloud platforms
Education:
22. University degree or equivalent experience operating in a similar role
