Hilton is seeking a Senior Manager - Media Strategy & Planning, who will be responsible for leading paid media strategy, planning & activation across a range of marketing campaigns in Continental Europe. The role will specifically lead strategy, planning & activation for both our brand and mid funnel campaigns to advance our paid media capabilities and in turn drive business performance.
What will I be doing?
1. Lead the activation and measurement of Hilton’s media strategy across key Continental Europe markets.
2. Review campaign briefs submitted by brand, destination marketing, and other internal teams. Work in collaboration with agency partners to build response to brief.
3. Manage development of media plans, taking into account campaign goals.
4. Oversee media campaigns including deployment, execution, optimisation and reporting.
5. Oversee channel management for all relevant media channels (outside of search), including working closely with key platforms such as Meta, YouTube & TikTok.
6. Ensure all media campaigns integrate in each market to drive optimal results for Hilton business whilst staying true to individual campaign briefs.
7. Work in collaboration with Performance media team to ensure campaigns are aligned through the marketing funnel, helping to craft & manage a holistic view of all media activity in region.
8. Build strong internal relationships with connective teams such as Brand Marketing & Destination Marketing to identify, scope and lead partners to execute campaigns in region.
9. Managing external partners to deliver campaign performance across all paid media channels.
10. Understand insights from attribution reporting and translate them into campaign strategies and optimisations.
11. Work closely with insights to understand core customers and identify the right channels by market to reach them and deliver meaningful campaigns.
12. Begin to define & develop an optimal always on approach by market for media with key media platforms.
13. Oversee reporting cadence to internal stakeholders.
14. Develop clear annual test and learn agenda which ladders back to Hilton Media Strategy and business objectives, overseeing the delivery and communicate impact to internal stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
* Strong experience of media strategy and planning, either client or agency side.
* Strategic mindset with ability to use insight to translate into media strategy & execution.
* Highly organised individual who can multitask, i.e. manage a variety of different stakeholders and multiple campaigns at the same time.
* Strong knowledge of planning & activating media campaigns to deliver against business goals and objectives.
* Ideally have knowledge of media partners and platforms across Europe.
* Solution-oriented, thinking ahead about the big picture and pre-empting possible problems or complications.
* Working knowledge across all media channels.
* Able to work collaboratively with external media partners and publishers.
* Experience of stakeholder management, and planning role within a major organization/brand is ideal.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing.
* Project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
