About the Role We are recruiting for a full-time Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a well-established private ophthalmology clinic in London. This role involves managing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations, with a strong focus on compliance with CQC standards and delivering outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities Oversee clinic operations, including diary management, correspondence, and financial transactions (invoicing, handling payments, finance agreements). Manage patient-facing services, including scheduling appointments, consultations, and surgeries, as well as handling patient enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Handle administrative functions, such as facility management, room bookings, maintaining health records, and ensuring confidentiality. Collaborate with health insurers, other clinics, hospitals, and GPs to support clinic operations. Oversee HR duties, including maintaining staff records, training, and onboarding. Manage clinic consumables and assist with CQC-related tasks. What We’re Looking For Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in healthcare administration or practice management. Knowledge of ophthalmology practices and procedures (preferred). Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems (preferred). Proactive learner, committed to patient care excellence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
