This role will focus on online learning, training events, and the delivery of training at third-party events; as we as the creator of trade resources, unique content and communications to support this unique training programme. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Training & Learning Manager to lead the design and delivery of innovative training programs for travel agents specialising in cruise sales. This role is ideal for a passionate educator and industry expert who thrives on developing engaging learning experiences that drive sales performance and product knowledge. You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating training strategies to ensure travel agents have the skills, confidence, and expertise to sell cruise products effectively. Essential Job Functions Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs, including in-person workshops, webinars, e-learning modules, and on-demand content tailored to travel agents selling cruises. Oversee the online learning programme, in consultation with colleagues in other markets, to maximise the diversity of learning offered and to deliver tailored training options to the UK and in Europe. Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions that enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Collaborate with stakeholders, including cruise line partners, to align training initiatives with business objectives. Leverage innovative training methods, including interactive content, and experiential learning, to maximise engagement and retention. Stay up to date with industry trends, new cruise offerings, and competitive insights to ensure training materials remain relevant and impactful. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to continuously refine and improve learning programs. Act as a brand ambassador, fostering excitement and enthusiasm for cruise products among travel agents. Manage training resources, budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient delivery of training programs. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven experience in training, instructional design and learning & development, preferably within the travel, tourism, or cruise industry. Strong knowledge of the cruise industry and travel agency sales processes. Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Proficiency in developing multimedia training materials, including experience of e-learning platforms and virtual training tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation in adult learning methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital training tools. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred in communications, membership, training, or commercial or related field. Work Environment This position is based in our London office as part of a hybrid work environment with 4 days onsite, 1-day remote. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
