We have a fantastic opportunity for a Security Charging Advisor to join our team on a Fixed Term basis until February 2026. Based from Basingstoke or Wembley, you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. There will be some travel to our Wembley and Basingstoke office, so you should be happy to travel when required. The Role You'll assist with the day-to-day requirements relating to our security charging strategy, updating property stock lists, managing legal documentation, and collaborating with our Legal team to maintain our Register of Assets and Liabilities. Your role will be pivotal in supporting various security charging projects and ensuring smooth operations within the Treasury and Security team. Key Responsibilities include: Assisting in all necessary steps in connection with putting residential units into charge as security for Bank lending, including liaising with Solicitors Updating property stock lists and legal documents required for the charging strategy. Working closely with all members of Strategic Treasury to ensure charging packs are reviewed and queries answered in a timely manner. Supporting any due diligence work outsourced to an external legal Panel to accelerate getting units ready for charging Assisting when required on work related to improving the loan value of Sovereign's assets, such as giving guidance to the Development team on mortgagee exclusion clauses for acquisitions Capturing necessary data for newly developed residential units and from systems to retrieve data for existing units Monthly reporting and invoicing What we're looking for: Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous but isn't essential. You'll have a good understanding of development / investment or legal documentation and processes. We will provide training and support within Security Charging.
